Clave Sol is a youth orchestra programme with a social mission that provides our students with the tools they need to train as musicians and, above all, to become people of integrity, creativity and sensitivity. This programme – accessible and free to all – instils discipline, values and respect regardless of skill level. Regular public concerts are offered, providing an essential opportunity to motivate and build confidence in these young people, and to generate pride in their communities. Musical mastery is cultivated without limiting educational excellence under the guise of its larger scale.
Clave Sol is one of the workshops sponsored by Banco Sol. Since 2021, as part of an agreement between institutions, the musical projects in La Paz and El Alto are managed by the team of teachers and administrators of Bolivia Clásica, involve over one hundred students every year, and take place in the spaces of Mi Teleferico and the Municipality of El Alto.
